Official from Vlora education department arrested for corruption

VLORA, July 20 – Kozma Leka, 59, head of the education department in Vlora, was arrested after he was found taking 100,000 leks in exchange for nominating a person to an official post.

The arrest was made after investigating the persons for some days, police reported.

Leka is accused of passive corruption in public posts.
