TIRANA, April 20 – Painter Stefan Taci has opened a personal exhibition at the Kledio art gallery in Tirana displaying paintings of Tirana from 1973 to 2010. The painter brings 25 works of different techniques mainly paintings but also drawings and some sculptures. The exhibition brings the story of a single Tirana neighborhood through years.
“The main character of this exhibition is the neighborhood, the place where I still live this day. The inspiration to paint it goes back a long time ago and has lasted until recently. I have seen it in the sun and in the rain, gloomy and empty, smiley in spring and white from the winter snow,” says Taci.
The exhibition showing Tirana’s transformation will be open until April 30.
