TIRANA, May 15 – The opposition Socialist Party lawmakers on Thursday left the parliament hall in a sign of protest against governing Democratic Party’s Prime Minister Sali Berisha and other ministers who were not present there. The Socialists said they would boycott all the other sessions, but only the first 60 minutes of free talk on different issues, unless government ministers were present.
They also insisted that Berisha should respond to their four requests on hearings on different issues, including that of the March 15 Gerdec blast which killed 26 and injured 302 persons.
