TIRANA, April 24 – Hundreds of supporters and activists of Albania’s opposition parties protested against the Socialist-led government on Monday by blocking several of the country’s key highways for an hour. Protesters called for a caretaker government that would be able to guarantee free and fair elections. Supporters of the Democratic Party-led opposition blocked three key road axes in northern and southern Albania as well as the two main roads of entrance to the capital.
