FIER, Oct. 19 – Police arrested a physician in Fier last week who was alleged to have taken bribes.
A police operation, codenamed Vipera, resulted in the arrest of Sotiraq Mone, 45, who was allegedly asking for a bribe of 1,200 Euros from a citizen staying at the city hospital. First the citizen had paid 600 Euros to the physician and he was asking for the second payment or he would not fill a document needed from the patient.
