Police arrest alleged murderer and hit-and-run drivers in separate incidents

TIRANA, June 15 – An Albanian named Fatjon Cela, 30, died in hospital after he was knifed during a quarrel a day earlier. Two more were also injured but were not in life-threatening situations.
Sunday evening they were allegedly assaulted with a knife by in a Tirana neighborhood after a quarrel days earlier.
Police have identified the alleged person who assaulted them but he is still at large.
In a separate incident, Shkelqim Dorzi, 40, was shot dead with an automatic rifle in the village of Yzberisht near the capital, Tirana.
A traffic tragedy found Dashnor Meraja, 34, arrested by police due to negligent driving when he crashed his car near the capital, Tirana, and went out off the road killing one of his passengers, a 33-year old from Kosovo, and also injuring his relatives in the car.
In another fatal car accident, police arrested Agim Gjyzeli, 51, who hit a motorbike and left its driver, 18 year old Andrit Prenga, dead. In a similar type of accident police arrested Nelson Xhaferri, 26, as a hit-and-run driver who killed an old man while driving his motorbike.
