Police arrest alleged weapon traffickers, thefts

TIRANA, April 18 – Two persons were arrested for arms trafficking found with ammunition and eight pistols. Edmond Enver Abazi (Myftari), 30, and Edi Hamit Kani, 28, were arrested in an operation codenamed Cikloni 3, police reported Wednesday.
Bekim Haka, 29, was arrested Wednesday after wanted for theft. He had been sentenced before for theft as well. Four men 19-24 year old were also arrested in Tirana for stealing a Kawasaki motor cycle.
Three men were arrested after found with 10 grams of cocaine they had tried to sell. Sokol Hoxha, 27, was arrested after found with a false Schenghen visa and some stamps. He was accused of falsifying documents. Anton Perbibaj, 22, was arrested Saturday after wanted for murder.
Police arrested a woman for killing her husband Hasan Pajani, 52, in Baldushk commune in Tirana. Pajani was declared as lost since some days. Investigators had not believed the family members saying he had simply gone away and found his body near a small river some 500 meters from their home. It is believed that the woman had killed him after being physically abused constantly.
Eris Koltraka, 23, was arrested for deceit of two Nigerians. He had asked them pay 500 euros and 10,000 leks introducing himself as an inspector of immigration who could secure stay permission in the country. Zaim Miftari, 37, resident in Kosova but a maceodnian citizen, was arrested after declared wanted from an international arrest warrant from the Macedonian authorities for murder.
Fran Deda, 28, and Renato Aliaj, 20, were stopped at Mother Teresa international Airport with false Greek Sscheghen visas.
