Police arrest fake passport producers in Tirana

TIRANA, July 4 – Two Albanians were arrested in Tirana for producing false passports, stamps and other documents, police reported.

Eno Mucollari, 46, and Qazim Hysko, 49, were arrested and charged with falsifying documents after a two-month investigation.

They were arrested while producing a false passport at an apartment in Tirana.

One room of the apartment was outfitted to produce such false documents.

Police confiscated equipment they used for the production, 90 Albanian passports, seven diplomatic ones, 10 foreign passports, 31 stamps of different institutions and of the Greek and Italian embassies, 80 Schenghen visas, 50 Italian identity cards, and hundreds of other fake documents.
