TIRANA, Feb. 7 – Police have been occupied with a series of other operations trying to arrest persons suspects in crimes or who have been sentenced to prison terms. On Saturday police arrested Shp쵩m Ahmetaj, 42, in Tirana for producing fake documents. He was found with three false certificates and other documents that would be served to different persons for a certain amount of money. At his apartment police found 29 false stamps of different public institutions and other documents, photos. A 30-year old woman named only as Rajmonda was arrested for prostitution, according to a police statement in Tirana. Rajmonda served as a prostitute at a hotel in Tirana paid with 10,000 leks from each male. Police also found she had abandoned a new-born baby last December. She was let free during the investigation process. Mirela Laci, 34, resident in Tirana was detained after she was accused by a person of deceiving and getting 53,000 leks and promising to employee him at a company. Kruja police arrested Friday Petrit Hida, 42, resident of Bruz i Madh village. Hida was sentenced in January to 18 years imprisonment for murdering Shpetim Bardoku.
