Police arrest suspects of theft, murder attempt, forgery of documents

TIRANA, March 7 – Police arrested Tuesday four citizens in Kavaja for theft of a resident in the town. The home owner had declared the theft after returning from immigration to Italy. When arrested the suspects were found together with some items from the apartment.
In Tirana police arrested Halil Vladi, 29, after he had tried to allegedly kill another person kicking him with different objects following a quarrel. While Niko Lekasi, 31, was arrested for trafficking in Albania, a stolen Mercedes from France where he resides.
Police also detained and questioned five persons, all staff of the forest department, about the injury of their head Ilir Vishkurti while they were dining in Qafe Molle. Police concluded they had not respected the technical rules of fire arms and consequently Vishkurti was injured.
Donika Sado, 34, and Shpetim Ahmetaj, were arrested Saturday for falsifying documents. While Marjana Stamo, 50, was let free though she is accused of theft of jewelries at Mother Teresa international airport customs department.
Police arrested Andrea Yzeiraj, 33, who was wanted for a murder attempt last year.
Police also arrested Luan Braho, 52, for falsifying stamps and other documents in Lushnja.
