Police arrest teen drug traffickers; Albanian with false documents

TIRANA, Aug. 4 – Two Albanian teenagers were arrested last weekend while trying to sell drugs in Tirana, police reported.

Erind Shp쵩m Toska, 18, and Ervis Gjon Kolgjokaj, 18, were arrested with some 50.5 grams of Cannabis Sativa near “Qemal Stafa” high school in Tirana.

In the teens’ car police also found ammunition.

In another operation, police arrested Erion Sotiraq Shyti, 35, from Lushnje, after finding him carrying false Greek documents as he tried to cross through Mother Teresa Tirana International Airport.

Six money changers at the former black market area near the central Bank of Albania were also arrested while trying to exchange money. The six will be investigated while remaining free. They were found selling mobile phone pre-paid cards on the street.
