Police crack down on ammunition traffickers

VLORA, Sep. 23 – Police arrested five persons and found 14 boxes with 20,000 rounds of ammunition allegedly taken to Kosova. Police found the ammunition at a vehicle from northern Lezha when stopped in Ura e Palases in Vlora district.
The three arrested suspects had allegedly taken the ammunition in Piqeras, a village in Saranda district, while another person was declared at large. While not sure, authorities believe It the ammunition would be likely taken to Kosova.
