TIRANA, Feb. 25 – Police in southeast Korca on Monday cracked down on drug trafficking arresting three persons found with some 19 kilograms of heroine. The drug was supposed to be destined for neighboring Greece. Police blocked two vehicles and the heroin was found at one of them. Police arrested Thanas Trasha, 43, and Dhimit철Duka, 44, from Kor衬 and Bardhul Kolgjini, 24, resident in Tirana. The heroin was found hidden at Kolgjini’s Mercedes car. On Sunday police arrested Avdyl Lushaj, 67, with 350 kilograms of marijuana and other equipment used in drug trafficking. Kosovar citizen Hysen Kamberi was declared as wanted after found to be a collaborator of the traffic. Police arrested last week Laurela Zani, 35, owner of a drug store, and Lulezim Xhambazi, 25, for trading drugs instead of medicine at their shop. Police found amounts of Fentanyl, a drug considered to be dangerous. Besmir Sul袪, 19, was arrested while giving drugs to two students at “Karl Gega” high school. He was found with 30 grams of marijuana.
