Police finds marijuana plants

FIER, April 3 – Police reported Tuesday that they had found 100 marijuana plants made ready to be planted in a village in Fier district. The plants were found in a small glass house. They could not find any person linked to the plants but police reported they are investigating to find the suspects.
In another operation in Fier again police found a 5-meter long speedboat ready to be embarked. It seemed as abandoned at the Seman river entrance. No drugs or anything else was found at the boat. Fier has been an important crossroad of drug traffic in post-communist Albania.
