TIRANA, May 23 – Luan Biberaj, 32, of Tirana died Tuesday after he came in contact with a power line while he was working at a house in Paskuqan.
In another incident in Hysgjokaj village in Lushnja, Celik Sharka died after being electrocuted by a power line while working.
Rajmond Hyska, an engineer working at an iron-nickel mine in Devoll, died after a mass of earth collapsed on him. The mine was owned by a German British company and the local media reported safety conditions were very poor there.
Nandi Hyseni, 29, died Wednesday when his motorcycle ran into the wall of the Palace of Brigades in the outskirts of Tirana. A teenager accompanying him on the motorcycle had serious, but not life threatening, injuries.
