TIRANA, Dec. 23 – Polish cave divers have taken some rare pictures of Albanian underwaters in the southern Albanian district of Gjirokastra. The pictures taken by Polish diver Irena Stangierska bring magical views from three caves in the southern district of Gjirokastra.

“We managed to dive in three caves: Viroit, Skotini and Petranik, but the most magnificent is the first one. It was explored this year by Polish explorer-diver Krzysztof Starnawski to a depth of 240m. The cave is located close to a beautiful old city of Gjirokaster,” wrote Polish diver Piotr KarpiŠ„ski.
