Turin, May 6 – Italian media reported of a strange Albanian who presented himself as a beggar at a time when he had a bank account of some 100,000 Euros and also a house in his homeland costing some 200,000 Euros.
Alfred Tafa, 40, had managed to get social assistance from the Italian authorities. He ‘worked’ during the day as a beggar on the Turin streets.
That was not his true life. Tafa was arrested together with two other Albanians following a months-long investigation.
He had a bank account and also a big house in his homeland.
It seemed that the beggar’s life and job was exploited only to hide his true job as a drug dealer during the night.
