TIRANA, May 26 – The opposition Socialist party moved its electoral campaign to neighboring Greece where there are at least officially some 600,000 Albanian immigrants.
Rama held a meeting in various Greek cities not far from the border with large Albanian communities and also in Athens.
The opposition leader called on them to come and vote on June 28, pledging this will be the last time that they will need to travel to vote. Rama said that as soon as they come to power they will start the process of organizing voting for immigrants in the countries where they reside.
Another pledge to them was agreements with governments in Greece and Italy so that their working time are included in the social insurance and the pension system.
Rama continued pledges saying that they would also be a visa free regime next year.
