TIRANA, Feb. 14 – Dozens of regional companies gathered in Tirana this week in a two-day international business technology fair present the strongest B2B platform in Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania reaching markets of more than 10 million people. The trade fair in Tirana came after similar events were held in Skopje and Prishtina as part of the SEE Business technology Week organized by Dubai-based Leoron Events.
Visiting the fair, Albania’s Innovation and IT Minister Genc Pollo said Albania’s young population and government policies promoting a digital Albania makes further IT development in Albania a priority.
Held in Sheraton hotel from Feb. 13 to 14, BizTech Road Show Tirana brought together providers of banking services such as retail, core and wholesale banking services, risk management, compliance and insurance services, providers of enterprise solutions like enterprise resource planning, enterprise content management and business intelligence, providers of telecommunications solutions like roaming services and wireless infrastructure solutions, IT infrastructure companies displaying communications technologies, servers and terminals and data management techniques and finally IT services like applications development, system integration and BPO services. It primarily served the regions of Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania, where the information technology market is poised for a big leap in the years to come.
The Cloud Computing Conference was one of the best IT solutions introduced in the fair.
