SANREMO, March.4 – The prestigious Italian festival concluded on Sunday with well-known Simone Cristicchi winning the first prize with a song dedicated to pain, called “I will give you a rose”. Albanians followed eagerly the performance of Albanian young singer, Elsa Lila, a winner of Albanian Music festivals and currently a student in Italy. Lila competed in the youth category and was ranked fourth. Lila had the chance to thank her audience in Albanian. The first youth prize went to Fabrizio Moro. The festival was characterized by the energetic presenter Pipo Baudo and Michelle Hutzinger. Some of the RAI television leaders said that Baudo could not outperform the previous presenter Mike Buongiorno.
