Saranda port to separate goods from passenger services

SARANDA, Jan. 15 – A feasibility study is being conducted from an international company on environment impact of the work for the separation of the Saranda port into that for passengers and that for goods. The study is funded from the World Bank. The project for the work in the port is also funded from the World Bank and it is expected to begin in 2008. The port of goods is planned to move to the Limjon Bay and the existing one will remain only for passenger ferries.
