FUSHE KRUJE, April 21 – About 100 persons were taken to hospitals Monday after being poisoned by food at a lunch following a funeral in Fushe Kruje. The group had gone to a funeral for a 20-year old who had died in a traffic accident in Italy, where he lived as an immigrant.
It is reported that participants at the lunch began to become sick after eating the food. No one, however, was reported to be in serious condition. Police have begun an investigation and arrested the owner of the restaurant where the meal was held.
