TIRANA, Oct. 29 – Shpetim Zizi, 19, admitted that he murdered Bekim Cenga, a ten-year old boy, for not letting his uncle have some fruits. Police later reported that Zizi was mentally will and they were investigating other circumstances or persons involved in a murder that shook the northeastern town of Peshkopia.
Cengu was lost last week and later was found hanged, though few believed the little boy could have committed a suicide.
The murder sparked an outcry from the media and different personalities, complaining that many other schizophrenic persons are free.
Zizi had been arrested and released three times for minor crimes he had committed in the last year.
