BRATISLAVA, April 25 – Albanian Foreign Minister Lulzim Basha visited Slovakia last weekend to promote bilateral cooperation and secure its support in the country’s integration efforts into NATO and the European Union.
Slovakia would like to significantly increase its cooperation with Albania, mainly in economic ventures, according to Slovak Foreign Minister Jan Kubis.
“We must do much more to bring our bilateral relations to an adequate level,” Kubis said.
Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha may visit Slovakia in the near future, according to the Slovak minister.
Basha said Slovak entrepreneurs might be interested in tourism and traffic infrastructure in Albania, adding Slovakia should also renew its trade agreement with Albania. (Tirana Times Staff)
