TIRANA, Aug 31 – Police arrested three persons for trying to illegally smuggle goods across the border from neighboring Greece.
Rustem Xhixha, 57, resident of Tirana, Sokol Osmani, 35, resident of Saranda, and Zyber Xhixha, 40, resident of Kruja, were trying to smuggle into Albania trousers and other clothing through an interline bus they used to transport people between the two countries.
A fourth person was also charged but let free.
