TIRANA, Jan 27 – Taxation Department head Arben Sefgjini was removed from his post Tuesday due to low collection results.
Artur Papajani, a fomer head of one of the departments at the agency, is to replace him.
Sefgjini’s move was made after the annual analysis at the department that showed lower collections than expected.
Sefgjini is also reputed for this involvement in the alleged murder of a former ethnic Albanian businessman from Macedonia. At that time, Sefgjini worked for the secret police
