The month of May saw 104.4 percent realization or 2 billion leks more.
Though profit taxes were reduced, collections from that tax was 143.7 percent, or 2.6 billion leks more, adding that the value-added tax took in 2.5 billion leks more, while personal profit taxes increased by 4.4 billion leks. Excise taxes also increased revenues with 1.3 billion leks, the statement said. (Tirana Times Staff)
