The Addams Family is the latest musical comedy directed by Endri Cela that will stage from March 5-19 at 19.00 at the National Experimental Theater ‘Kujtim Spahivogli’.
Choreographed by Aledia Kondaj, with stage design by Beqo Nanaj, and costume design by
Sofi Kara, among the actors that will be part of the comedy are Elidon Alika, Adriana Tolka, Ina Morinaj, Ilia Kaà§i, Kristian Koroveshi, Dajana Nenaj, Andi Begolli, Donald Shehu, Vlera Pylla, Anderson Gurra, Ermir Jonka, Oriada Zeza, Franceska Hysi, and Aldjon Matarangasi. The 80-minutes long show will address many universal themes, mainly focused on family values.
Based on Charles Addams cartoons from 1932-1988, The Addams Family has been adapted into live and animated TV series, films, video games, and musical.
With music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, the musical comedy premiered on Broadway in april 2010. Compared to other media adaptations, the musical based all its traditional characters such as Gomez, Morticia, Uncle Fester, Lurch, Grandmama, Wednesday, Pugsley, and Thing.
