Theft, the main crime police fought this week

TIRANA, March 28 – Theft has been the main crime against which police have increased their fight during the last week.
Xhevahir Dervishi, 42, was arrested in Tirana for stealing a Golf vehicle, while. Klodian Mehidri, 19, was arrested after being searched for false money. Eljon Malushi, 21, was arrested Monday while trying to steal sport club Dinamo. Fatushe Idrizi, 32, in Tirana was arrested for prostitution. Flamur Yzaj, 48, in Tirana was arrested Monday while trading cigarettes at a shop without the fiscal documentation.
Neli Stambolliu, 55, threw herself out of a five-store building after which she died immediately. Police said that Stambolliu suffered from depression. Police arrested Arben Aga, 42, a resident in Tirana’s Vishaj village, accused of kidnapping Banush Iberliu in 2006. Iberliu was released after a police intervention and Aga had disappeared. The two persons were involved in a quarrel because of frictions in their businesses. Arlind D, 15, and Petrit C쳲iku, 22, both residents in Shkod첬 were arrested for theft of a property, a house where none was living. In another operation police arrested G. K, 15, in Tirana also for theft. While Maliq M쳫uri, 43, was arrested for sexual relations with minors.
Police have continued their crack down on persons involved in distributing fake money. In that context police arrested in Tirana Arben Tole, 36, after he had been previously accused by another person for taking one million leks and 5,000 euros through deceit. In two other cases he had also owned through deceit considerable amounts of money.
Fatmir Kraja, 69, suffering a 10-year prison sentence for sexual relations with minors, died at the prison hospital due to health problems.
On Sunday a teenager named Eglantin Gj,17, died after trying to take out of a power station some copper wires. Blerim Sula was arrested in Berat and accused of burning the office of mortgage in the city, Sula, 27 year old, was a resident in Durres and had been previously improsoned for theft and property damage. Hysen Rrahman Hamzaj, 28, resident in Durr쳬 was extradited from Turkey after he had been sentenced for a murder two yeras ago. Sulejman Bakalli, 24, was arrested in Tirana after he had been accused of murder attempt. Together with another person they had allegedly threatened the life of a person some days ago. After a couple in Tirana had reported theft of their house police arrested three teenagers and also sequestered the items stolen from that house. In another case police arrested E. P, 13 years old, for stealing water meters in collaboration with another person who is at large. There were also reported many other arrests for theft of mobile phones and other items.
