Three Albanians hijack, burn bus in Italy

TIRANA, May 16 -Albanian media widely covered the Wednesday hijacking and burning of a bus in Italy by three Albanian immigrants on Tuesday.
Ali Muka, 27, Armand Albrahimi, 19, and Rustem Ahmeti, 21, were arrested after they hijacked a bus near Novara. They released all the passengers, however, they reportedly injured two policemen traveling on the bus. Then they left the bus, setting it on fire and tried to escape to a nearby forest. Two of them were immediately arrested by police and the third a day later.
They were under the effect of drugs, it was learned.
Reports from police indicate the three were collecting valuables and money from passengers when they were confronted by two policemen who were passengers on the bus.
