TIRANA, Sept. 18 – Live music, sports, children’s games and lots of entertainment will be offered for two consecutive evenings to the public in Tirana this weekend. The Tirana Fest scheduled for Sept. 22 to 23 will be a massive, evangelistic movement to transform the Albanian capital with Good News held under the motto “Peace, Hope, Love” on the Mother Teresa square.
TiranaFest will feature two nights of live performances by some of Albania’s most gifted Christian artists as well as some international guests.
“Abandon Kansas,” rock musicians from Wichita, Kansas – USA; ” LZ7,” electro, dance, hip hop fusion group from the UK; “Salem International Choir,” a 40 Voice Choir from Chicago, Illinois – USA, Eugent Bushpepa, rock musician from Albania, Saimir Braho, and Juliana Pasha, Mariza Ikonomi, and the Rilindja church worship team of Albania are some of the musicians performing in the two-day festival.
World-class BMX and FMX athletes will perform jaw-dropping stunts and offer clear presentations of the Gospel throughout the festival. On both Saturday and Sunday, young ones will find lots of great fun and activities. Kids can let loose in the bounce castles, create masterpiece crafts, play carnival games, get their faces painted, and much more. A number of sports activities and competitions are planned in the weeks leading up to the festival weekend. Championships will conclude festival weekend, and awards will be given out.
