TIRANA, April 20 – A dog parade will be held in Tirana on Sunday, April 24, at the Rinia Park in central Tirana. The Tirana Dog Show, the first of this kind being held in Albania is an initiative of the Albanian and Kosovo Kennel Associations to promote the breeding of dogs. Some 150 dogs of different breeds will be put on display in the park from 16.00 to 20.00, organizers said in a statement.
Part of the show will also be some traditional breeds of dogs in Albania. The event is considered another effort ahead of Albania’s membership to the Fꥩration Cynologique Internationale.
