TIRANA, Feb. 18 – Albania’s top police official, Ahmet Prenci, headed a police delegation holding an official visit to Turkey February 12-15.
Turkish police have provided continuous assistance to the Albanian police, especially with training and logistical support.
Albanian students also attend the Turkish police academy. Some 85 of them have graduated since 1994.
Fighting organized crime, illegal trafficking and collaboration between police of the two countries were the main topics of discussion among the police officials.
