TIRANA, July 14 – Police continue their tough fight against the cannabis sativa all around the country.
They are trying to stop its cultivation and also continue checking to find traffickers.
In northern Shkodra police burnt some 2,800 cannabis plants at the Mazrek village. The drugs was found cultivated in different areas but at the same places as last year. No people were arrested as none was directly linked to that cultivation.
In another operation in southwestern Albania in Vlora police arrested Abdurrahman Aliaj, 69, at the Vezhdanisht village for cultivating cannabis sativa.
