TIRANA, Nov. 7 – Forty large size paintings inspired by urban contemporary reality are being featured in an exhibition at the National Museum of History in Tirana. The solo exhibition by painter Gjergj Meta features reflections of objects from mirrors and reflectable metals.
“The motif of this exhibition is built on urban topics. It all started from reflections which take place from clashes of real and surreal figures which are found on stainless steel items, metal parts in cars etc. I have built my whole exhibition on this topic which goes in parallel and is later deformed on the way,” says Meta.
The rather uncommon “Transformers” exhibition will be open at the National Museum of History until November 12.
