Turkish firm gets 35-year concession in Durres port

TIRANA, June 23 – Turkey’s Global Liman Isletmeleri A.S, says it has formed a consortium with Durres Kurum Shipping Sh.A. and signed a concession agreement with the Albanian government to operate the Container Terminal of Durres Port in Albania for 35 years. The final shareholding structure will be decided upon the delivery of the Container Terminal of Durres Port to the consortium and further information will be published accordingly, says the company.
