TIRANA, Sept. 2 – Albania’s National Theatre of Opera and Ballet has announced a tight calendar of events for the new September-December season including opera and ballet premieres.
Mozart’s Don Giovanni opera and the Carmina Burana ballet will be the two premieres the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet has scheduled for mid-September and early October 2015.
The program of events will kick off this weekend with a solo concert by violinist Gezim Bulcari on Sept. 4 to be followed by a concert of Floklore ensemble on Sept. 5 and conclude with a gala night on Sunday, Sept. 6.
Mozart’s Don Giovanni is scheduled to make its premiere on Sept. 14.
