KAKAVIE, April 26 – While thousands of Albanian immigrants in Greece returned to Albania for the Easter holidays, U.S. embassy officials in Tirana traveled to the Kakavie border crossing to review and monitor procedures followed by Albanian border and anti-smuggling police. Embassy officials also met with police and border authorities at the checkpoint.
