UN to further help Albania fight crime

TIRANA, Dec. 4 – Prime Minister Sali Berisha met Wednesday with the United Nations Regional Coordinator of the Crime and Drug Office, Carla Ciavarella.
Berisha expressed his executive’s determination and commitment to fight crime, traffic and corruption with zero tolerance, which remains one of the priorities.
Ciavarella highly praised Tirana’s efforts in the fight against organized crime, drugs and corruption but also urged them to intensify that fight offering their full cooperation.
