LEZHA, July 21 – The conference of the World Albanian League was held last weekend in the town of Lezha in northern Albania.
Participants from around the globe took part at the conference.
“At this historic moment for Kosova and the many problems suffered by the Albanian nation we need to work to join forces, to bear more responsibility without political, district or reglious assistance,” said League President Simon Kushnini.
The league has increased its role to join forces of the Albanian diaspora spread thourghout the world. There are many Albanians in the United States and North America, as well as in almost all western European countries.
