World Bank: $100 million for the Albanian agriculture

TIRANA, May 8, 2008. It is expected that the World Bank is
going to approve another project aiming to help the Albanian agriculture.
According to the project, the World Bank is going to finance
around $100 million for the renovation and the improvement
of the irrigation and drainage system. The project includes the complete
renovation of several artificial dams, drainage pumps, etc. In
Albania, there are 56 irrigation co-operatives that are expected to
benefit from the project. (Tirana Times Staff)
