Mustafaj meets senior officials on NATO integration

TIRANA, Aug. 23 – Albanian Foreign Minister Besnik Mustafaj met with senior officials who cover issues related to the country’s integrating efforts to NATO. Such senior officials are mainly vice ministers of foreign affairs, defense, interior, justice, finance, heads of other departments in different institutions. Albania meets Oct. 6 in Brussels, Belgium the NATO group to discuss the 8th Member Action Plan, based on which the country works to reach NATO standards. Albania expects to have the invitation offer for membership in the NATO 2008 enlargement summit.
