Berisha denies his daughter has illegal money

TIRANA, Sept. 2 – Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha said Saturday in a news conference that his daughter head earned her money legally together with her spouse working for the United Nations in Kosova, including a loan from a bank. Berisha also declined that any member of his close family was shareholder at any flight company as said from the opposition. Berisha also added that his daughter was the only one from all the top politicians in the country who has been transparent and made the property declaration.
The opposition had accused that Berisha’s daughter Argita, had illegally earned because of her father some 800,000 euros, some seven apartments and a legal studio. They have said that they will ask for the creation of a parliamentary committee to investigate their allegations.
