TIRANA, Oct. 30 – Top policemen of Albania and Macedonia held a routine check of the bilateral border over the weekend along their efforts to prevent illegal trafficking and further strengthen bilateral ties, police reported Tuesday. Albania’s Bajram Ibraj and Macedonian counterpart Lu诠Todorovski were accompanied in their inspection by other top police officials. Border points linking the two countries have long been considered points of reference by organized crime trafficking human, drug and weapons. Police said the same inspections will also be held along Albania’s borders with Kosova, Montenegro and Greece.
