TIRANA, Dec. 30 – Police used the last days of the year when many immigrnats come back to the country and when people seem to be more relaxed to arrest many persons who had been wanted for months before. They arrested Saturday Astrit Lala, 26, who had been sentenced before for falsifying documents. In another case they arrested Lulzim Murati 25, who had been sentenced to 12 years imprisonment for exploitation of prostitution. While Lulzim Murati, who had been sentenced for exploiting prostitution for personal benefits was arrested while trying to cross Rinasi with another name. Three other persons declared at large were caught while trying to cross the border line at Mother Teresa International Airport.Viktor Gjekaj, 32, had been sentenced to 15 years imprsonment for a murder for bloodfeud reasons. Vjollca Kosta, 25, was sentenced for falsifying documents. Some other citizens were let free after they were deported from other countries. One of them had paid up to $20,000 to get a fake passport. Avni Gjata, 24, who ahd been sentenced to imprisonment for avoiding the obligatory military service, was arrested at his home village of Marikaj. While Viktor Marku, 24, sentenced for illegal damge of forests, was also arrested from Kukes police. Diber police arrested Artan Buci, 29, from Bulqiza, who has been accused of murder. He is accused of allegedly taking part in the killing of Jeton Mucaj and injuring another person on Monday. His cousin rdian Buci had been arrested the same day of the criminal act. Artan Buci had been arrested near the border with Macedonia, where he is beleived to haev been tring to cross into.
