TIRANA, May.8 – Ines Heba will be the new director of INSTAT, the Albanian National Statistics Institute, following the promotion of former director, Gerta Picari, to head of the Taxation Authorities. In a ceremony marking her appointment, Gazmend Oketa, Economics Department head of the Tiraan University and deputy Prime Minister, wished Heba good luck in her new post.
Ines Heba works as a professor at the Economics department of the University of Tirana and had been a consultant for INSTAT over a two-year period.
