SARANDA, July.12- A three-day band concert will invade the southern tourist city of Saranda, with regional orchestras performing as well. Numerous bands will march throughout the city, performing for tourists and creating a festive atmosphere while in the evenings a special stage will host longer performances. The concert will award certificates and merit awards to the musicians. The mayor of Saranda, Edmond Gjoka, said the aim of these concerts is to make the city more appealing to tourists as well as revive the tradition of street-performing music bands.
