KUKES, Dec. 26 – Many roads in northeastern Albania were blocked Wednesday following heavy snows as high as half a meter.
Also, roads linking Kukes with neighboring districts could only be driven with chains on tires.
Officials reported that some communes in the Kukes districts were totally isolated by 50 centimeters of snow.
