VELIPOJE, RUBIK, Dec. 24 – Age and her son, Platin Filipi, were shot dead at the door of their house in Cas village in Velipoje.
Upon coming out of a car, the mother and son were shot dead with a Kalashnikov rifle by Arjan Zefi, 20, according to police.
Zefi has been arrested. Police believed the murder was an act of revenge.
In Rubik, another northern town, David Perlala, 33, was shot dead by a suspect named Fatmir Tuci, 27, according to police.
Perlala’s brother suffered no injuries.
Police believe the two families were in a dispute which resulted in the death.
In a separate case, police found a teenager girl hanged. The 17-year old was found at the commune of Fan, Mirdita. Police were investigating whether it was a suicide or someone had killed her.
