New government in Kosova

TIRANA, Jan. 10 – Albanian high ranking state officials congratulated the re-appointment of Kosova’s new President Fatmir Sejdiu, election of Prime Minister Hashim Tha詠and his cabinet and that of the Speaker of Parliament Jakup Krasniqi.
Albanian President Bamir Topi phoned to congratulate Sejdiu on the renewal of his mandate at such a historic moment for Kosova and expressed his willingness for a close cooperation on issues relating to Kosova’s future independence.
Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli congratulated her Kosova’s counterpart in a letter on which she states: “When we talk of Kosova, our Parliaments are on the same wavelength, beat the same beat and are overtaken by the aspirations and desires.”
Prime Minsiter Sali Berisha also congratulated Thaci and Sejdiu on their posts. At the time, the appointment of the key institutional leaders in Kosova was also greeted with a message of best wishes by Albanian opposition leader Edi Rama.
